Etty Horowitz: "United We Stare"
"Meadows Art Now" features works by faculty members at Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts . The second exhibition, United We Stare, is an installation by Etty Horowitz. The opening reception will be Saturday, April 4 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at our galleries located at 3120 McKinney Avenue, which is in the Uptown District of Dallas.

"Meadows Art Now", curated by Cortney Garman, includes works by Susan Barnett, Peter Beasecker, Rebecca Carter, Du Chau, Charles DeBus, Carola Dreidemie, David Dryer, Barnaby Fitzgerald, Debora Hunter, Bill Komodore, Peter Ligon, Michael O’Keefe, Larry Scholder, Noah Simblist, Jay Sullivan, Philip Van Keuren and Mary Vernon. Miss Garman is a McDermott intern at the Dallas Museum of Art and co-curated Life in Space: Staging Identity, which is presently on display at the DMA.
The New Works Space will feature an installation by Etty Horowitz entitled United We Stare. Having received her degree in architecture from the Technion Institute in Israel and her MFA from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, she has developed a keen interest in exploring the relationship between architectural design and the complex desires of human nature. Ms. Horowitz is represented by Dahlia Woods Gallery at 600 Cantegral St. Dallas, Texas.
