Sara Luxen:

Restored Fragments, an MFA thesis exhibition of photography

Sara Luxen received her BFA from Southern Methodist University and will receive her MFA in photography from the University of North Texas in December.

Luxen's current work is an extension of her previous work dealing with the theme of women’s roles and identity. Her work has evolved into an examination of different generations and an investigation of histories and pasts of women through personal artifacts and exhibitions across the southwest. Her work has been selected for numerous juried exhibitions in the metroplex such as New Texas Talent, The Joyce Elaine Grant Photography Exhibition, and the 500X Expo to name a few.
