The MAC is pleased to invite members, friends, art patrons and the public to its thirteenth fundraiser, The Blue Yule, on Saturday, December 6 from 5:30 to 7:30PM. The Blue Yule supports The MAC, raising funds for its 2009 artistic and educational programming.

DALLAS, Texas, 23-October-2008 10:00 am The MAC announces its most important fundraising event: The Blue Yule, a chic evening featuring live music entertainment with Jamal Mohamed, an acclaimed jazz percussionist whose credits include working with artists such as fiddle whiz Mark O’Connor and groups like Between The Lines and Café Noir.

 

Following The MAC’s tradition, each year national and international artists, designers, architects and creative people contribute their finest hand-made holiday ornaments for this special event.  Attendants will enjoy tasty treats, the infamous Mystery Punch, unusual ornaments, and a silent auction! David Nelson is the master of ceremony for the event. 

 

Liliana Bloch states: “Our 15^th Anniversary is coming in 2009.  We are thankful to all our members and sponsors for making this possible, but in order to continue our mission, we need the support of our community.  The MAC provides a unique space supporting freedom of creativity focusing on the quality of our exhibitions.”   

 

Sponsors of the event include Neiman Marcus Willow Bend, Lana Jewelry and The House of Blues.  The Blue Yule Auction begins at 5:30 PM and includes fantastic items, such as gift certificates for a fabulous gifts, haircuts, meals at area restaurants, Hair and Skin Care products, and MORE.

 

ADMISSION:

ARTISTS:

All MAC members and artists who donate an ornament receive a complimentary artist’s membership at The MAC.  Drop off dates for the ornaments are Tuesday, December 2 through Friday, December 5^th weekdays 11:00 – 5:00.
